About the Artist

It never occurred to me that I would one day become an Artist.

Whenever I had a creative itch, I would turn to writing because of what my day-job entailed, and, for my love of Sophocles, Cicero, and Thucydides.

During the pandemic I was itching to try something new. I signed-up to as many art classes as possible at my local community college; restrictions and lockdowns permitting. To my surprise my left brain was hiding a few things from me!

After the pandemic, I took a leap of faith and moved to rural Spain. I adopted an energetic dog that forces me to take long walks through the countryside. During these walks I became inspired. I could walk the same trail multiple times a day and always find, a new kind of beautiful.

My art is a reflection of rural Spain and my multi-cultural background. I play with fluidity and texture, minimalism and abstract, monotone and colourful.

Enjoy!
